i don't understand a word i just collect data

This work is a starting point for a research about reverse engineering the cultural identity construct. Using family archives and drawings telling stories about my family origins, I give the drawing machines images that are slowly unraveling. The symbolic weight of those pictures is questioned through the machine performance.
